Our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw the dream of ‘Swachh Bharat’ for the country. For making the noble dream come true the Appeal Commissionerate, CGST &C.Ex., Rajkot made some contributions which are as follows:-
In order to ensure that the officers and staff members of this office remain unaffected from the pandemic namely, COVID-19, we strictly adhered to and complied with the guidelines issued by the Government. In this regard, protective paraphernalia such as ‘masks’, ‘sanitizers’, ‘hand gloves’, ‘soaps’, ‘all out’, ‘surgical gloves’, etc. were distributed among the officers.
Keeping in view the health and hygiene of the students of school namely Shree Mangala Pandey Primary School, this office installed Water Purifiers.
To boost up Swachchh Bharat Mission, this office celebrated ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ from the 1st of September, 2020 and the 15th of September, 2020 with gusto, besides following the safety norms of COVID-19. Under the ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’, the officers and the staff members went to ‘ShreeMahadev Prathmik Shala’, Rajkot to conduct ‘Swachhta-Workshop’ and ‘Clean its premises’ under the Shramdan activities. Not only did we do this but also were the premises of our own office refurbished, renovated and rejuvenated by affixing ‘National Emblem’, ‘CBIC Logo’, “National Leaders’ and ‘Office Address Board’on the walls. A wall opposite the lift had become old and rickety, so this was overhauled.
